About Jamduro Massage
Jamduro Massage is a shared trading name for two separate sole proprietorships. Jamduro is not a separate legal entity. You generally book with Jamduro and are then assigned a massage therapist. Bookings are managed jointly, and both business operators have access to all booking details in Bokadirekt.
Information used for bookings and enquiries
We handle the contact details you provide, such as your name, telephone number and email address, together with details of the treatment and appointment booked. When you contact us by email, we also handle the contents of your message. We do not record customers’ health information. Please do not send sensitive health information by email.
Purposes and legal bases
Bookings, necessary customer communication and payments are handled to perform a contract or take steps at your request before entering into a contract, under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). General enquiries are answered on the basis of our legitimate interest in assisting people who contact us, under Article 6(1)(f). Accounting information is processed to comply with legal obligations, under Article 6(1)(c). Information needed for bookings and payments is necessary for us to provide the service.
Bokadirekt, payments and accounting
Bokadirekt is used as the booking service. Booking information is handled there, and Bokadirekt’s own privacy information describes the service’s processing of personal data. The business operator who provides your treatment receives the payment and issues the receipt through their own business. Each operator handles the information for their own payments and accounting.
Retention and deletion
Personal data is kept for as long as it is needed for the booking, customer enquiry or payment. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. Accounting records and other information that must be retained by law are kept in accordance with applicable legal requirements. The need for continued retention is assessed against the purpose and any outstanding obligations.
Marketing
We promote the business through social media and advertising. The customer register is not used for personal marketing messages by SMS or email.
Your rights and contact details
You may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and have the right to data portability where GDPR provides that right. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in GDPR.
